Currently windows 7 is the most widely used operating system. This increases the chance of resolving any issues you might have with your PC. Regarding the 64bit architecture, this allows you to use more memory than a 32bit system which is limited to 4GB

6Gb RAM

In most cases, having more RAM speeds up operations done by your computer. 4GB has been sufficient enough to handle Firestorm CAD, but of course more is always better.

Video Card

Although FireStorm CAD was designed to run on lower end computers, many commands run smoother when utilizing the powerful resources a dedicated video card can provide. This is especially important when designing complex pieces with many edges.
